[B]Remember this car? Tim Meagher used it to win the NMCA Street Race title a few years back and is now outfitting it for x275 action.
Tim brought us a pile of parts to get the car prepared. After the Yellowbullet.com race he was excited to get back in action.

Don Burton's Outlaw Radial car is up on the table and we're working hard to restore it to its former glory. Dennis has been measuring and cutting all week.

Taking some measurements to make sure the new fenders and nose will fit properly.
Halfway done - the frame stub has also been trimmed back to just a few inches in front of the fenders.

We're also almost done with Paul Duncan's sleeper Malibu.

Nice tight joints all the way around.
We needed to attach to the car's frame in the rear, which necessitated cutting out a section of the floor to get to it. This section has since been replaced.
Main hoop attachment point to frame. We saved all of the factory sheetmetal we removed to install the hoop, and it will all be welded back into the car to close off any holes.
Passenger-side front down-bars and floor replacement.
Almost done! Finishing touches in the next few days.
