ground problem or wat i believe is a ground problem

So I've been working on my car and I seem to be not getting power to my rear end of my car. I ran a solid power line from battery to the lights in the rear and they lite up, and I also ran a solid power to fuel pump and it was turning on. I know I have power making it to the relay under the drivers seat cuz I tested it with a test light. But after that I get nothing. I've looked over all the wires and can't find any problems with the wires heading to the back or were it the grounds are. Just wondering am I looking in the wrong spot or is there some trick someone knows to test it more then I have. Its draining my battery also but I've looked over the engine. Bay wiring also. Anyone have a idea on wat I could do. I don't wana send it out to be checked over, any help is help. Thanks
