Holy shit is this kid serious?

http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cto/2373244722.html
Oh really? Tell me more. please.
I'm the 3rd Adult Owner of the car, It's a 1997 Ford Mustang GT, Originally it was Black and now it's a Flip Flop Royal Blue meets Plumb Crazy Purple and then in certain light you'll even see some Candy Apple Red too... it's weird, the Jams are still Black, if I was going to keep it, I'd just put it back to a Nice Gloss Black... but whatever. There's only 67,750 miles on the car as we speak but very early last year "Jan. 2010" I pulled the motor with the help of my good friend Jimmy D. and that's when it all began...
The mileage then was 62,001 and the 4.6 was taken to Donnie @ R.A.D's in Ludlow. Now I'm currently working on a Word Document with everything that this car has on it but it's taking awhile... (No Joke!!!) so there's no way I'm going to tpe it all into this AD but I'll try & give you a decent idea of what's up. Forged Crank, Performance Pistons & Connecting Rods all components good upto 800HP and totalled alittle over $2000 just for those 3 pieces. I upgraded the cylinder heads to P.I. "Performance Improved" Heads $600 off a 2002 Mustang GT with No miles on it and then $450 to have them Worked/Built Up, bla bla bla. Kept the Stock Cams but if I was keeping the car I'd change them along with a stiffer/stronger valve springs (You'd be looking at around 25-40 more HP but the performance would improve when you were racing or driving agressively/)
It has Roller Rockers, Rods &... also when the Heads were changed I put a Brand New Dual Strength Timing/Cam Chain & oiling unit on it too... kind of had to! A Complete MSD Ignition System/all top of the line, Aluminum Flywheel, A Cobra P.I. Intake Manifold, Stock Pulleys, Brand New Waterpump, Starter, Alternator, Every Tensionor, bearing, small misc. piece was infact changed & most likely upgraded to grade that was above & beyond what was called for. 42lb Ford Racing Fuel Injectors,$Alot$. The Plug Wires cost me $250 and the plugs were $12 a piece... then when it was getting Dynoed, it turned out we didn't need them/they weren't working as good as a good ol' fashioned Platnum Motorcraft @ 5 bucks each. 4 Core Aluminum Radiator ($600) with a 18 or 20" Electric Fan on it, Pro Prod Series 75mm Throttle Body & Intake Plenum, 100mm Lightning Mass Air Flow with Cold Air Intake with a K&N Performance Cone Filter on it.. 2 Electric Fuel Pumps (1 is internal & 1 is External and the external one is a (brand name???) but I remember it cost me $400 friggin beans. bbk Long Tube Headers $800 with SS straight exhaust to M.I.L. Eliminators $1200 & slp Loudmouth Cat Conv's $600... and that's a yummy $2600 Exhaust that will last you 4ever and if I had to bet (I haven't lost yet) this is the best sounding Mustang you'll ever stand next to. Alright Enoughs Enough,,, there's stuff I know that I'm forgetting plus the fact it's 3 O'clock in the morning and I'm getting bored & Sick of Talking/Writing about this car & I'm not even close to being done. The Motor Rebuild alone was $5800 I think and that's w/o the Injectors, Intake, Throttle-Body,,, all the Bolt on stuff. The money was basically for the Block and the internal components/Heads. It's Not Cheap to Go Fast My Friends!!!
The Biggest Single Purchase was the Polished "VORTECH" VS3 self contained SUPERCHARGER... for a cool $3800 it was all mine. but the cool thing is this particular model is like a rare baseball card, it can go from car to car very easily, it holds its Value $$$ and Vortech will even Buy it back from you at a Good Price if you wanted to sell it. It Ranges/Gives you anywhere from 100-175 Rear Wheel Horse Power and that all depends on the Motor and Other Components. Mine is actually set pretty low @ 9psi basically so I don't blow anything up and until a Vortech "Aftercooler gets installed! and it still produced 425hp, but put on an aftercooler and reDyno Tune it and Your Gauranteed another 100+ Real HP. That would be over 525 Ponies out of a little 4.6 Mustang (that originally came with 235 unimpressive hp on pump gas & 10;1 compression.
Also A Brand New King Cobra Stage 2 Clutch $450 on a Borg Warner 5 Speed Tranny w/a Custom Billet Aluminum Short Throw Shifter as well as all new throw out bearing & clutch fork... New 3:73 Rearend Gears and Strengthened Axles, Upgraded to Huge Performance Cobra Brake Calipers a good chunk of Money $$$ plus the Vented/ Cross Drilled Rotors & Ceramic Brake Pads...
So basically here's just the Drivetrain, that now has 5k miles on it Broken in correctly with Royal Purple Synthetic Oil ... I will swear to you, the first 2500 miles that oil was changed 4 Times! not cheap but no where near as much to replace what I have invested... and just the smart thing to do. 100,000 mile Antifreeze, Like I said I went above & beyond, for example; the Hose Clamps... Normally .69/.79 cents each @ NAPA, come look at mine that I put on there and yes I think there''s probably over a dozen all over under the hood. But, I went to a Co. in East Longmeadow named McGill Hose & Couplings... Now try $8,10, $12 apiece for the hose clamps that are on my car.
Oh yea, did I tell you there's a $2500 Racing "Nascar" Style Tubular K-Member on it with Custom Coil Overs & Racing A-Arms and All Anodized/Hardened Alloy/Billet Aluminum Front End Components and I have a Complete Photo Journal/Record of the Motor Build and it shows all of these Killer Parts... When I added it up there was Over $6000 in Suspenion Mods-Upgrades on this car,,, matter of fact it doesn't have a stock piece of suspenion on it or is there a piece of suspension on it that isn't adjustable. Matrix Full Frame Connectors with Cage adaptors on it, adjustable rear trailing arms, Front & Rear Steeda Sway Bars that are three times as fat as a stock sway bar/all with new bushings. Aluminum Driveshaft $ big Money with New U-Joints, All new Synthetic Oils/Fluids... in the tran. & the rearend.
The Body kit is a Stalker 2, it cost over $1200 and it's Urathane, not the cheaper/flimbsier Fiberglass ones... I bought a Set of Black Power Leather seats out of a 2007 Mustang GT and installed them, there's White faced Cobra Gauge Cluster, A Killer Stereo I just installed that cost me $1200 friggin bucks Alpine Head Unit, 4 Boston Acoustic Speakers & a Very Nice & (exspensive) 5 Channel Zues 600 Watt Amp. with a Single 8 or 10" Sub mounted in the trunk... A nice Python Aftermarket Alarm System, Legally Tinted Windows, Factory Black Leather Interior, there is no back seat although you could put one back in it. It has something called a rear seat delete kit and it looks really sharp. The car has Power: Disc (4 wheel) Brakes, Steering (it handles & steers unlike any car you've/most likely ever driven...), tilt wheel, delay wipers, Ice Cold Air Conditioning, rear Defrost, Pwr Mirrors, Windows & door locks. Driverside & Pass. side Front Airbags, center console and more... and more and more.
There's also Chrome Cobra R 17" wheels w/Dunlop Sport Performance Tires on it, I put custom taillights $250 on it that make the rear of the car look nasty. I bought New "must see/one of kind type" Headlights for it $350 but they're not on it yet, still in the boxes... Cobra Rear Spoiler, A New Billet Alum. Grill for it, All kinds of smaller misc. custom pieces I got from Saleen, Steeda, ebay and ohter places
Now here's the kicker, the cars not perfect, this isn/t a show car but it's also not some abused race/drag 1/4 mile car either. You can get in this car and drive down to Flordia @ 90mph with the A/C on & the Stereo cranking, using Sunoco Pump gas and not burn or leak a drop of Oil or any other fluid in the process. If this car had the right rims & tires on it... you could run it @ LimeRock Raceway on an Open Practice day and be very competitive while having the time of your life doing it.
Ok, I know I forgot some things but I'm am friggin fried, A.D. All Done I hope you've enjoyed reading this homework assignment that I've written for the masses...
I would like to sell it for at much as I could get, because I know how it works when it comes to "TOYS" so I'm trying to recoupe as much as I can... Besides what it cost me to buy/acquire the car in 09 (which was a nice chunk $$$) (The NADA on a Stock Mustang GT with 67k miles is still $7000) anyway, Besides what it cost me to own it, I've invested another $18k into it! WoW. Also Trades, because I know cash is tight with us all and we sometimes get sick of our own toys... I'd be interested In a Harley Davdson FLHX "St. Glide" - somekind of Custom Chopper - Ducati 1198 but if your flip isn't worth the (MID TEENS $$$) it's probably not going work, unless you've got some cash too. I have a complete photo journal on my digital camera of the Engine/SC - Rebuld/Swap & it also shows the front end/carriage with Tubular K Member and all the Other Components while the car was up on the lift... probably 50 pics give or take.
Thanks again, & email me @ joccoharpin@yahoo.com or call (847) 651-7914.

Hi,
I own a 1997 Ford Mustang Gt, I'm the 3rd Adult Owner of the car, it has only 67,750 miles on it. Last year @ 62,001 I built the engine and put the Vortech SuperCharger on it. It Dynoed @425HP on pump gas and 10:1 compression. That was with the SC only @ 9psi and you can turn it up to 15 psi, when you ad a Vortech Aftercooler to it and that will give you another 100HP! I have the reciepts for the eng. & SC and they're $11-12K.

As far as the rest of the car goes, there's nothing stock about it. Everything that is done to it is/was done with the top of the line parts and professionally & Tastfully.
Suspension OVER $6,000+
Brakes $2,000
Exhaust $2,000
Body Kit & Spoiler $1800
FLip FLop Paint Job (A Candy Blueish/Purplish & even a Red under certain Light...) $2500
Wheels & Tires $1,000
Stereo System $1,200
and then the list goes on & on with Misc. items that are all over the car:
2007 Mustang GT Black/Power Leather Seats $650
Custom Tail Lights $300
Custom Head Lights (aren't on the car yet) $400
Python Alarm $300
White Face Cobra Gauges $300
Legally Tinted Glass $200
and,.....................................$$$
If you go to Craigs List/Cars & Trucks on April 28th you can see my Complete ad that's about 3 pages long with the parts itemized.
Some of this Was Done when I got the Car in Oct.09, then early 2010 I started my project and put $18K into the car, on top of the $8k that I paid for it.

I decided to sell or trade it Only because I have my 75 Trans Am 455... that I've had since High School, that I've decided to Finally Restore. If I can't sell it, I sold my Road King to buy an Engaement Ring and pay off some bills a couple years ago so I always said if I get another bike it's going to be an FLHX "St. Glide."
So if you were interested in a Trade, I'd love to talk to you further and Thanks for taking the time to read my really long email.

Email me @ joccoharpin@yahoo.com or Call (847) 651-7914 Thanks

It would be easier to read if he actually wrote it correctly. His pics suck too. Its your typical CL ad. Does he even say his asking price? I don't know where he got $6000 in suspension. You can buy a complete Griggs SLA mustang suspension for that kind of money and this car isn't close to that. Good luck to him, but I don't see it moving for that much money. I bet he would be lucky to get 8000 for it.
