i bought a new battery for my 89 GT today. long story short i hooked up the terminals ass backwards. (did i mention im an idiot?) only for a second i got a quick spark out of what looks like the ground wire thats connected to the car by the battery. the car turns over and runs but is not gettin a charge now. i had a warrenty on the alternator so i took it back and got a replacement. with the new alternator hooked up, still no charge. PLease help a mentaly challenged person out? Thanks

theres a fuseable link ( a wire that burns up ) connected to selenoid near battery it might be that

ha ha the wrong battery was in it before had reversed terminals from the new one i got. but my stupid ass didnt check

rags there should be 4 wires ill come over and take a look at it whenever your around this week sucka!

bring a gallon of gas ha ha. i only see one fusable link and one wire with like an inline fuse. some people have been saying it could be the computer circut for the altenator.
