well word on the streets is tasca and ford took over the reigns and new england dragway its gona be a full blown nhra track i they allready poured the all cement track 1320 feet on smooth concrete all new buildings what ive herd they plan on a major national even in 2012 and there tower is gona have a bridge you go under to get on the track will be a nice when its done look on there website has details on the track
i cant wait to go to a national event never been to one and im sure even the test and tunes will be better ive only raced and been to new england dragway so it will be nice to go to a nice track instead of a used up one lol
Be prepared for all racing costs to go up due to the renovations and also different safety regulations due to NHRA rules. Anyone trap over 135? You will need a competition license regardless if you have gone 9.99 etc.
Not that any of this is a bad thing, anyone who has raced @ LVD knows that NED is actually already a pretty nice place to race and upgrades are always good.
Man !! I hope they fuckin pave the pits all the way through . It sucked ( for me ) when after a run you come back to the pits and your throwing rocks at the rear quarters from the shity gravel section between the scales and pits .
from what ive hurd tasca is going all out on the track all new everything he calls it his home track he got ford corp to pretty much give him the blank check to nbuild a nasty track
