hmm, good to know I will check with sears.

I know I could rent the eastwood fender roller of ebay for pretty cheap but I am curious as to what this could cost because peace of mind is worth it to me, my paints in great condition and i dont want to crack it

It came out flawless but obviously if you're willing to spend the money a shop is usually insured just in case.

i rolled my fenders with a ball peen hammer and a 3lb wrapped a soft cloth around a block of wood held pressure on the on the outside of the fender and work on bending the inner metal flat` no paint cracked on mine as i took my time and went slow with it. i will do yours for $100 if u want.

ive heard that heating the paint a little helps with avoiding cracking, sounds like a fair price but what happens if i end up with cracked paint or wavy fenders.

I know on a balck car i would not be taking a hammer to it. Its black. I've done door skins on balck cars and I would only suggest using the roller. there is a guy on NEMS that rents one out as well

dont be a dumass and use a bat yuke. especially with your luck.

and i have a feeling your father would not do that to his car but his boot would also be up your ass.

also just from looking at zachs link and seeing where the fender rubbed on your tire (where the gouge is) i dont think it will clear. the gouge is too high up on the sidewall, or it would at lease be VERY close on clearing

not only that, doing it just to run a spacer which also isnt the best idea with an already wider tire, it might not be worth it
