How do i adjust the hood latch??

I need to raise the latch in order for it to reach my cervni's hood. it doesnt latch so i figure i'd raise the assembly an it should work. does anyone kno the easiest way of doing this?

Loosen the 2 bolts, raise latch, tighten bolts. Done.

Alrite so i finally got around to doing this and its just not getting far enough down to lock it. i adjusted upwards an downwards, the hood just needs to get pushed down a little bit more in order to lock. any ideas??
