So got my hood up, and on the right bottem half of my cobra manifold there is this small rubber hose plugged with a bolt, there is a little oil leaking from this plugged hose, not a lot, but i am a bit concerned, could someone drop some knowledge please..thanks yall.
Do you have the TUBULAR cobra upper intake? I do and my intake seems to collect oil in the drivers side "tank", where the runners come together in the long section of the upper intake. sometimes when i turns hard and get on it, she runs like shit and smokes for a bit then it wont do it for a while. I believe if you take that plug off your intake will drain, and I would get a better plug or install a catch can like i did. Our motors do have a habit of having blow-by which causes the oil in your intake.

I beleive the hose your refering to attach's to the charcoal canister . There would be a solanoid in between . If you have removed the air pump and related smog equipment this would be plugged off to prevent a vaccum leak .
I don't think you should be getting puddles of oil in the intake . It would seem that your engine is sucking the oil in from either the PCV or the valve cover breather .
You could try disconecting the valve cover breather from the throttle body and using a screw in breather in place of the oil cap . An oil seperator in between the pcv valve and intake would help also . Also if your using a synthetic oil and your engine has blow by issues ...try using a semi synthetic or good conventional oil . I have found in the past with 5.0's anyway that I seemed to use more oil when I used full synthetics V.S. conventional oil .
I use this, its off eBay...$18-$20 dollars any way you get it off there. Like Mineral O2 says its probably coming outta the PCV valve but Ive seen alot of 5.0s with blowby issues.
