8.8 help


gonna start on my rear end soon its getting moser 9in ends, and axle tubes welded along with the braces for the tubes and the rear girdle cover....but internally im a little stuck i am going 456 gear but cant decide what to use for axles and a center....i do have a 31spline posi sitting here but wondering if im gonna need more? (should be around 600+ to the tire) should i user locker or posi? should i bump up to 33 spline stuff and what parts do you guys reccommend...thanks for the help

will be a street/strip application and will get some abuse at the track cause of transbrake launches and will eventually hit a 180 shot to the motor so gotta be able to handle some power... thanks

I really would not suggest a locker for a street application. it will drive you crazing with all of the noises it makes. i would go with a detroit true trac which is a all gear driven posi.

tru trac worked fine in my bronco with 44s
