Hello to everyone! My name is Jeff and I was referred to this place by a good friend of mine Steve (forcefednotch). I DID own a 1985 Mustang GT until yesterday... I purchased it in 2007 with the intentions of making it my daily driver. Well it sat and good 'ol New England winters got to her before I could. The drivers floor and the rail rotted away and was not worth the extent of bodywork it needed. It also needed a motor and more body work so I dumped her.
So I am now looking for a 2007-2008 Mustang GT Premium about the January time frame. Of course if it is snowing then I will wait until Spring. So I guess I will be reading a lot of posts here and see what I can learn about the 4.6L 3 valve...
So thank you for approving my membership here! Maybe see you at a car show with Steve (forcefednotch) and a 07-08 Mustang!!!!
welcome. i myself have an '87 the weather is getting to. the doors & driver's side quarter panel are worst, floors near mint and there's a few other spots here & there.doors will be replaced asap (i have a new set just haven't had time to swap them). sucks to hear you lost yours to the new england weather, good luck on the new one

its great... im in school and dont drive it much but its a much more finished car than an sn95. it isa big car though... i have FFRP exhaust, FFRP fully adjustable suspension, JLT intake, SCT Tune, 4.10s (highly reccommended) then other cosmetic stuff. in school so i dont have much extra money to put in this one like the last one. the 3v motor is great though.
you definitley gotta ge a premium though, the ambient lighting and shaker 500 everything is much cleaner in the interior. i bought it a few months old with 2200 miles from a dealership and still got a steal... the cup holders even light up at night haha

Thanks for the info on your car! I am not a fan of the sn95, it is either the 07-08 style or back to the 85-86 foxbody! Not very familiar with the 3 valve but so far I am liking what I hear! Not sure how many mods at first b/c I want to take my 10 month old son and wife with me so I want to keep it drivable to events and such. I haven't seen any of the 07-08's but I am only going to purchase a premium.
