As i pull up to registration my car starts to idle wierd then i gave it gas and it stalled.... starter was too hot to try to restart, so i tried to jump start it...car wont run...so i sat outside the car show (which was pretty good) for a few hrs till my dad showed with his truck becasue now i need a jump cuz battery is dead. jump the car , car starts right up and is running fine no issues the 4-5mins later car starts to idle funny and dies. had AAA come to tow it back to my house, and then my dad tries to start his truck (has an optima battery) and his is stone cold dead. wtf! so AAA jumps him and tows me. My dad went to advanced to get it tested...said battery and alt is nfg.Now my dad says its my fault cuz his truck is dead cuz i didnt have the jumpers on correctly....???? he says on the newer vehicles ur not soposed to put negitive on battery ur soposed to put it on another ground. i have never heard that. just a cherry on top the awsome day i had. btw he has an 02 chevy 2500...wouldnt consider that newer lol
