gauge wiring


im trying to wire up the new gauges in my dash and im really confused on it, i have cables marked off, but i would like to kno if anyone thats wired in aftermarket gauges would stop in to help me wire them, or to give me some tips, thanks steve the joker

They are pretty easy. You run a ground and then run the gauge lighting wire to your dimmer switch fuse or headlight switch fuse so they will go on with your lights. Mechanicals are cheaper and easier to wire. No extra wiring needed or sending units that can fail. If you get a thing called an Add a Circuit at Advanced Auto or Auto Zone that will make for a clean install too. They allow to plug right into your fuse panel and not have to cut into factory wiring.
