If neone has a parts car I news to cowl panel ( piece behind hood under windhshield between fenders it needs to b cut out not looking to spend to much money so give me some good deals
Thanks flaming pony I might have to pass don't really wanna fill any holes already gonna b enough work I'll let u know asap if i can't get anything else cheap enough cause that's really cheap
they can usualy be fixed. i replaced one before and its alot of work i would opt to fix. unless you are going to glue it where the windshield is plan on removing the dash there are wires that run across.
Wow I gotta cut that far in?? Idk wat I should do I bent some of it back up but don't really wanna use bondo I'm not a big fan of it!! How would u fix it I'll try and get a pic up of it
i would fix that panal ther eowuld be only a skim coat of filler on it. you know all the show cars that you could never have the quality of. most are covered front to back with filler.
Hey, My hood flipped up on me and I replaced it 2 times. You have to make sure you take it out of the both cars right. I wouldnt recomend cutting it out with a wizz wheel, i've seen it done that way and theres a lot cleaner and better way. You have to take the hood off, slide the fenders forward(whole front clip), and take the windshield and dashboard out. Next you have to make you have the right drill bit and drill about 75 pinchwelds out on each until it easily pops out with a flathead screwdriver and a hammer. Then make sure it fits exact, then visegrip it down and weld it in with a migwelder. Its a pain in the ass job that makes you wished you just used hood pins. But if you need any help or info just let me know, cuz ive been there twice it sucks!!! Good Luck-Mike
