Can I lower my fox


I have a 88 fox on 17in cobra r wheels and I was wondering if I could lower it a 1in I was wondering if anyone knows if it would rub

I actually have 2001 mustang Bullitt springs on my fox. drops it about 3/4" and improves the handling a ton over stock with good dampers and gives great drivablity on the street. '01 mach 1 spring give about a 1/2" drop. that said you can drop it the 1" w/o issues but I would strongly suggest caster/camber plates. I'm running the maxumim motorsports ones and even with the slight drop I did I needed to adjust the camber or the inside edge of the front tires would have worn for sure.
