once our yard dries out we nedd to dig a trench alll around the house and do a french drain setup. our deck is sinking our ac compressor was 1 ft under water thae other day, oh and when we wash clothes i seen water vcoming in from the wall hahaha. fuck this rain we need dry weather for a lil bit, to fix this shit. about 1 month ago we had to fix the roof because of al the rain. so needless to say we have a lot of work ahead of us hahah. i dont mind i love being busy, i dont like laying around. the more i move the sexier i look hahaha.
not only did it suck because summers supposed to be nice but working in the rain blows, i do construction and i would be laying zipboard down on the roof and it would start raining, dangerous and annoying
i work for homedepot and we ran out of pumps then ran out of shopvacs
on sunday we had a man rip a pump out of a ladies hand cause it was one of the last ones....what a dickhead..... we finally got pumps back in on tuesday and almost all of them are gone... still out of shopvacs
we had people calling all day monday for pumps no one in boston metro area had any i called around no store in MA had any RI was just about out. i had to tell people they had to drive to southern CT and northern NH just to get a pump..... i wish i had bought some on sunday nigh i would have put them on craigslist and would have set up a booth in the parking lot and charge big $$$$ for them. i would have made a killing because people would have paid anything for them... People were offering me $100 just to find them a pump... but i couldnt have gotten any
Same thing with generators... when we are out people offer everything for you to get them one

Not really rain that caused this but heres what I wake up to via text message from my brother:
I'm currently in vegas and apparently my $200 garage that I bought on ebay couldnt last all winter, so close without any problems.
Soooooooo it's nighttime and I just checked on the car for the first time since coming back from vegas and the scratches are DEEP so it looks like on top of my motor possibly being blown, I'm not going to need a paint job too. I seriously think I'm fucking cursed.

oh yeah good thing is the moat stops the water from coming in the house. all the water is running down three different trenches into the sump pump. when we get sun and the yard dries a lil i will dig it up more and a french drain will be installed then this wont happen anymore lol
this rain is even more annoying since i dont work nights anymore. im doing landscaping/construction again so the more it rains the broker i become haha
