Did you use a soap and water solution in a spray bottle ? Make sure window is clean then spray the window with solution , then apply film and squeegie it out from the center out .
This has worked for me , but others might do it differently . Oh and don't put the window down for a couple of days ( avoid drive through's .. LOL ) .

A bondo applicator works well to get the water and air out too. The edges are rounded on them so they won't damage your tint. I wouldn't use a heat gun on it.

side windows are the easiest ones to do
curved front and rear are a huge PITA sometimes
have a heat gun and sharp raser blade handy
little trick i learned over the years if you have those little bumps on the window or rear difrost i would lightly sand them with i fine grit paper just so it would nock the thickness of them so you get good contact and so you dont get the air bubles cause i dont like the look of it at the top when you can see the space those dots leave

i did the driver side twice and the passenger side 3 times... it came out decenti guess one crease in passenger side and some little bubbles in the bottom corner that will hopefully evaporate... overall a huge PITA... i made a template and everything and cut them on my kitchen counter i would definitly buy pre cuts in the future because cutting the top edge is a bitch... any suggestions for that?

the 80 bucks seems real cheap for it now haha

make sure the window is clean and tuck the window molding on the inside down. use a credit card or bondo spreader to smooth it out
