Yes it is. I bought it back in July 03 after I sold the notch. I had plans for the notch, h/c/i procharger car with either a full Griggs or Maximum Motorsports suspension thru a T56. Never did it though. I sold it right after swapping to black interior. After driving my Cobra the first time the notch just didn't cut it anymore. Instead I did a Maximum Motorsports suspension, T56, eaton blower in my cobra.

Thanks! I was gonna go with a built motor and use the ported heads and cams I have with a whipple. Its just not worth the money to me right now though. Maybe someday, but for right now the car is fine the way it is. Just gotta get it up to Performance Dyno so he can tune it right and thats it.

Dan, I think you did sell me those wheels. Either you or Charlie did, I forget. I picked them up in Stu's rental station wagon he had because he blew the tranny in his brand new mustang in 6K miles. That was so long ago.

this was my favorite car, bought it when i turned 16, blew the motor shortly after and fixed it up, everything in my current car came out of this one (motor, trans, exhaust, rear end), car had a ton of wiring issues but man it looked good when it was done... funny cause i painted it myself in a carport and it came out pretty well..

My '03 GT

Traded it in for an Infiniti last year. Needed a winter vehicle and something a little more practical. I still have a Fox 5.0 project car.

Some kid in peobody has it now. I bet someone here knows him. I hope it's still in as good condition as when i had it. :(

Nah, i wouldn't buy it back.

I'm done with Mustangs as DD's now. I have my Fox project car. If i ever come across the chance to have two Mustangs in the garage (and a daily driver) then i'll get an 03/04 Cobra convertible

yea i ahve some ill attache... 6 inch lift 35 bfgs on mickey thompson 15 classics.. fixed all the rot from the bed back... painted the patches on the body and the tailgate... moog centerlink... flowmaster, new hitch, new bumper on the back, cut the rust out of the front bumper and put fog lights in the holes, ended up the the hospital cuz i was putting the radius arm bracket on for the lift, the last step, and it broke... and i got metal in my eye from the grinder... needed an EGR sensor the kid at autozone forgot to charge me for lol... passed inspection in september... put 09 badges on it... put about 4,000 miles on it and sold it for like 5500

ran over a nail and the 4x4 wouldnt engage when i buried it pulling a boat in river muck cuz the tide was too low for the ramp.. i think it was the hubs but igot out in reverse haha

so i pretty much broke even on the build but got new tools and learend how to do it... and a free 4000 miles on a truck...

I only have the boring sedan cuz i needed an AWD car for the snow. Ironically, only decent pic i have of it is out in the snow. But it ran 14.6 bone stock, drives awesome in the snow, and keeps me cozy with seat heaters, Bose stereo w/Ipod + Sat radio, Nav, etc.

And just to show you I'm still in the game...my 5.0...which i never drive :(

the interior was in perfect shape and the body, where there was no rust the paint came out pretty good after i compounded/ waxed... would have been a great winter truck but i couldnt turn down 5500 for it... especially after i ran over a nail which i left in the tire haha and the hubs didnt lock

hands down i personally think MUSTANG5L5's black lx is one of the cleanest sickest fox mustangs around, the wheels, newer seats, sunroof everything goes together well on that car, dont sell that thing its off the chain!

Thanks. I'll never sell it. Was my first car even when i turned 16 so i've had it now for 13 years. Lots of sentimental value and good memories with it.

i still cant believe how much the newer seats change the look of it... what did you have to do to get the back seat in there?

Wasn't that tough. I think i bought the rear seat off a member here out of an '04 a couple years back.

Seatbacks are easy. Basically, i just removed the inside plastic frams from the SN95 and fox seat backs and swapped them. I pulled the skin and foam off the SN95 seats and pulled them onto the fox frams and secured. I had to modify the seat latch to fit slightly, but when i was done, they bolted in like a Fox seat and even tilt forward like a Fox seat.

The seat bottom was totally custom. Got some seat clips from an 94+ at a boneyard and basically had to fabricate a mount for the bottom. I didn't make it too secure as nobody sits in my rear seat (i don't take passengers for rides...just me) so there are no seat belts either. To be honest, if nobody is gonna sit in the seat, you can just lay the cushion down.

Was a pretty easy mod that gets a lot of "oh damn how did you do that" response.

The fronts just bolted in no prob. Trying to get a set of 85-86 halo headrests recovered in matching leather but been getting high quotes of $200-300. When i get some spare cash, i'll do it. But right now i've got some other mods i need to do first.
