1) fix my motor :(, 2) when the motor is pulled I plan on rubbing of all surface rust in the engine bay (there is not much) and possibly spraying the engine bay/jams to match paint. 3) black interior maybe? 4) MMAAYYYBBBEEE new heads but I doubt it. :O we'll see though

Ive been thinking about a cobra swap!?!? but donno if i could handle all that while at school, anyone know how much work actually goes into it?

id be prob get one out of a mach 8 for now so itd just match up with the auto trans then when im outta school id rebuild it with a 5speed so no need to rip into me on that for now..

Its not that bad, many have done it. Mark 8 motor is ok, weak cast iron crank though. Other than that that rods/pistons are the same as 96-01 cobras. Mark 8 is an aluminum teskid block. Can't get much better for a factory Ford bare block. You can get them cheap now too. The heads are the B heads which are ok, but not the best out there for an n/a setup if thats your plan.

cutting out the spare tire section, put in a 5 gallon fuel and water cell, also want to go with a in car air to water intercooler and put more timing in her with the cooler air inlet temps. and maybe some aluminum kirkey seats to lighten it up some, also might try some MT 275-60 radials.

sell the mustang and truck and get a newer mustang or get out of the mustang scene for a while with some kind of boosted import like an EVO or STI...

hahaha, i know, but i want something with better MPG, a nice modern interior/drivetrain, and better reliability... on top of it all, something more practical and i can drive all year without a worry, hence the AWD of the EVO or STI.

I disagree. EVen with snow tires i hated driving my '03 GT in the snow. I ended up ditching it for an AWD G35. Now it's nice not caring about how many inches are on the ground. Just hit the gas and it goes through everything.

But i only lasted 6 months out of the Mustang scene. Been hanging around G35 boards a ton and they are a different bunch for sure. Good think i kept my Fox 5.0 otherwise i'd go crazy. Pulled it out of the garage where it has been parked for 7 years and got it driving again. The old Fox bodies sure are a different breed than the 99+ cars. I miss my '03 GT :)

my moms was a 03 gt vert and if it was alotta snow it would be horrible but if it wasnt alot it was good also it was like 99% stock only bolt on was cold air intake and it was a auto so she didnt really have any real problems with it traction wise in the snow u know but for my mom it was good

I had other reasons for ditching the '03 GT. I miss the car, it ran awesome, but wasn't really the best for my daily life's needs.

A kid in peabody owns it now

I'm leaning more towards the EVO right now. I'm hearing about dif and tranny problems with the STI's. Plus my buddy is getting one and I don't want the same thing as him.

a buddy of mine had a nasty built wrx (not STi) that would shit on stock STi's. That went thru trannys like crazy. and these weren't stock. fully built trannys wouldn't last but a few weeks. i guess his driving style probably didnt help tho...

Okay, well winter is halfway done so i guess this is all I did.

#1.) Rebuilt (new shaft bearing and sandblasted inner surfaces for good seal) and reinstalled smog pump and install catted Magnaflow H-pipe

#2) Currently working on reinstalling my A/C because that 30 pounds is just not worth me sweating my ass off in a black fox with black leather as i cruise around town barely if ever actually flooring my car. I'm buying all new Ford stuff too.....$400 and counting. :(

I've also done a lot of engine bay detailing and refreshing. New vac lines, all wiring has been reloomed in new black look with fresh tape, cleaning up every ounce of grease and grime and making it look like factory new.

If you can't tell, i'm pretty anal about my car.
