dimmer switch wire


just like the title says....which color is it on my ride 04 gt...i need to wire up my gauges and need to know this

Just get run it to your fusepanel. Its the #5 location. The add a circuits work well for this. Nice clean install and you don't cut or splice any factory wiring.

auto zone or pepboys
from what i recall i bought mine at pepboys then seen them at walmart for half the price

The pic above is what I was talking about. They work great and allow for a neat install. No cutting into the factory wiring. Then you don't need to worry about using the right wire, you just do it from the fuse panel.

got them all installed to day and t76 i didnr want to o that route cause i want to be able to dim the gauges down cause they can be to bright sometimes

just run the gauge light power to the dimmer wire on the car. all it does is reduce the voltage and run a dimmer light.

The blue and white wire off the headlight switch

You can still dim them if you run them to the fuse panel. You just use the dimmer fuse location.

They are bright if they are at full power. I dim mine a bit too.
