yea it was in belmont new hampshire about 1245 am so im driving and i see the cop coming to the hill on a cross street coming to the light so my light is green and i cruising at the speed limit minding my own business soon as i go by he turns on his blues and pulls me over.. he was you like u know the speed limit was 35mph i said i did not know cause i am not from around here and was not going over that cause it was late and i was just going at a slow speed. so he takes my license and how my record was and i said it was ok hoping he would just give me a break cause i knew my license was suspened. so he says he will be right back now i am like fuck i am going to get arrested so he comes back tell me to get out and i get cuffs put on searched and stuffed in the car. so i asked him after he searched my car how fast i was going. he said he did not know. so i asked if he had me on radar cause my radar detector did not even go off. he said he did not even have it on he then tell me that he pulled me over cause he thought i was going over the speed limit. so i was like wtf the one time im actually going the speed limit i get arrested. so i go back to the station that is deep in the woods and is the size of a 1 bedroom apartment. so car got impounded and im on bail now. a $40 bail what a joke now i got to go back up for court in october

Congrats on your licence. And it doesnt matter if its in Mass or NH, its in the Bill of Rights which is Federal President. But once your placed under arrest they have the ability to search your car.
The probable cause is that you were arrested for breaking the law. If you are willing to break the law regrading driving w/ a suspended license then the question is there about other laws you are willing to break. You have no case on the search.
I hate when cops act like that though. They think you are speeding so they pull you over. Thats why when I see a cop pull out behind me, I immediately take the next turn to get away.
