so my cars ben running decent , i need some new suspension every little bump is killing my car lol bolts keep coming loose. im looken for something good for dailydriving and some beter handle would be nice too. i would like to lower it slightly from stock but i live around alot of pot holes and speeds bumps and shitty roads. i was wondering what u guys would recommend thats a good price and street able not looking to go crazy. also if anyone is selling any thats new or like new let me know, thanks
Koni or Bilstein shocks/struts with H&R race springs. Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates and possibly offset rack bushings if you want. That will give a nice ride and drop the car a bit too. If you want to spend some then coilovers are the way to go, but they can be expensive for good ones.
yea i jus wanted something decent not looking to go crazy theese hards are harsh man. i gota go like 10mph down some . ive always ben a fan of h&r . if anyone has anyused let me know. idk if ishould even bother doing it before winter though? what u thuink
thats what im thinking, thje onlything holding me back is fucking insurance and ran outa places to park. it sucks. i think im gona be driving it in the winter. gna suck
i'd guess that the front sway bar bushings are whats causing most of the ruckus over bumps....kinda of a well known part that wears out in foxes causing clunky front suspension. The rear upper control arm bushings (ones pressed into the rearend housing) are also another key source for clunky rear suspension. You could do both of these for under $50. The springs/shocks/struts being worn out wouldn't cause anything other than a bouncy ride in most cases. If its clunky over bumps its most likely bushings.
