1994 f150 oil pan


anyone ever do an oil pan on an f150? has a 302 in it, any way to be done w/o pulling the motor?

no need to pull engine just lift it up. then you need to drop the picup into the pan then wiggle the pan out. its a bitch but very possibile

i got it all unbolted and motor lifted up, where im havin a problem is the y pipe, im assuming that needs to come off?

y pipe off motor jacked up might have to pull intake to get it high enough i did but i also have a 351 witch has a higher deck hight drop pan drop pickup and pump into unbolted pan pull pan out
if i have to do it again the truck goes up in flames fuck doing oil pans on those trucks never again

one of my trucks needed a oil pan so i fully restored it

step 1 lightly sand pan with 40 grit

step 2 give the pan a nice thick coat of j-b weld

step 3 put oil in it and see if you missed a spot

step 4 do a smoke show

yes you are right, if i ever need to do that again truck goes away, that sucked, it was weird cause i had to beat the shit out of the old pan with a hammer to get it to come out, but the new one slid right in no problem? idk, its in and doesnt leak anymore so thats all that matters

yep thats pretty much how it goes they go in a shit ton easier then they come out
