Water in engine


Well I had this problem after I installed my motor so I changed the headgaskets thinking they they were bad, now I finished everything and I still have the same problem. Does ne1 no wat this means plz so close to driving my car but this is holding me up thank u for reading and giving ur input

There is a crack somewhere.Maybe an Cylinder Wall.

i agree with Jim you got a crack somewhere my buddy had the same problem in his work van and the motor had a crack right where the heads bolt in

I was told it can be that me gaskets from my intake didn't seal right cuz I put a trick flow lower intake

I would leave the water in there and put gold fish in your cylinders..

When you say in the engine ...where in the engine are you finding the coolant ? The pan , the cylinders ? A coolant pressure tester would help to find exactly where the leak is . Just pump it up to 16# and watch the testers gauge for pressure drop . If it doesn't hold pressure then start looking and listening for escaping air and or coolant .

What year is the motor? 93 and newer had torque to yield head bolts and you need to replace them. Also have you had the heads shaved?

i noticed the coolant turn a wierd color then i took off my filter and noticed that the oil was mixed with water.

the engine is out of a 94 Gt with the heads stock, nothing done to the heads

You can not reuse the stock head bolts from a 94 302 engine.

yeah i replaced the headbolts, do u think it could be my lower intake gaskets did not correctly, i read on a article that the felpro gaskets have this problem on lower intakes

Your gonna have to track the problem down ..... If you want to throw parts at it it could get costly . Pick up a coolant pressure tester and find exactly where it leaks . It helps me every time find coolant leaks . There is just to many places it could be coming from for anyone to tell you for sure . This way you will no if it's just a gasket or worse . Good Luck ...
