all i gota say is it took them god damn long enuf to break 300crank hp with this damn ohc shit, and even if its a 5.0 they should bring back pushrods. but 400hp sounds very nice wink.gif

yes they are building a 2011 5.0 mustang but it is still going to be based off a 4.6 it wont be a pushrod motor ....................cant wait to see someone putting that motor in a fox cause it will still be a 5.0

they have had the 5.0 modular motor for awhile now. Called the CAMMER motor. And thank God its not a pushrod.

i wish it was pushrod, its a 5.0 DOHC 32 valve those dohc's sound nasty,
chevys doin pretty damn good with the lsx though

Thats cool , but I wish Ford would not be so shy about dropping bigger cubes . The fox's should have had a 351 option and the modular cars should have a 5.4 option (besides the GT500). Oh well one can dream ...Right !!

I wonder if the 400HP 5.0 will be supercharged or not because the camaros 300+ hp is all motor. hhmmmm

all motor, the new camaro is 425hp

I meant like 2002 SS's but yea I heard the 2010 SS's are 400+

x10000000000 the foxes should have come 351 and the mod motor cars should come with 5.4s these are supposed to be muscle cars i why not put your strongest motor in them.
they should deffinatly come out with something with a few more cubes tho.

i agree with a 351 fox in a way.... but keep in mind we drive these cars alot... you know how many highschool kids die in 5.0's now imagine them having 351s? YIKKKES go the just yard and get any front end parts you want because the rear quarters would be toast from telephone polls
