2inch steel cowl hood or go big like 4 1/2,5, 6 incher


going on my notch with 408 and t trim gonna be 75% -80% strip car and a little street

what do you guys think go low and clean with just enough to clear the 351 intake or go mean and big ?

WELL I WENT WITH THE 5 1/2 CAUSE THE CARS GOING in the 9s if it dont im selling it
and when the front wheels are off the ground it dont matter if you got no hood or a 12 inch
hood it dont matter

mini tubbed 325/50/15 drag radials
full cage thru firewall etc..
408 t trim 18-20lbs of boost

but i needed a hood around 4 inch cause the intake im running is like the spyder design its a
eddelbrock super victor car intake with welded injector bungs and a 90mm elbow and its pretty tall

I say 4" is legit and the biggest I would go. I like the 4" on my car personally.

this isnt your average street car if its even gonna be a street car

and i now own a 5 1/2 inch hood its on car now
