that sux man. motor arnt that hard to go through and check out. but another 302 would be easier but perhaps more costly. not tryin to be a dick

Also I'm really not gonna do anything to it right now it's my first car and until I get it running I am driving my dads ram and I gotta learn how to drive a stick good on it so nothing extreme

well the d80e arnt the best stock head. the e7te's would be. but i didnt know if u just needed sumthin to get the car goin. drivin stick is easy and if u need sumone to put the heads on i can do it for u. ur call if u want me to do them or have a shop do them

the 302 needs a distributer, altinator, belt, and a nice oil change! you can take all that stuff off your motor....let me know man ill hook you up its at my buddies shop i gotta pick it up

i take it you really dont know what wrong with the motor? does it have heads on it? or does it just need a head gasket? a lot of the time its something stupid that wont allow ur car to run properly.

welcome. and yeah it might be easier just to drop a motor in, and 400 dollars for an almost complete 302 is fair
