Anyone know anyplace local to Boston that can sandblast an entire 8.8 axle housing for me?


I have the axles and brakes pulled off, all the bushings and lines. The cover is on and i'll cap the tube ends. I just need to find someone who can sand or beadblast the entire outer housing

I don't have the means to do it myself. Only small components.


It's not bad. I want to POR-15 it and just want to get the surface rust off.

if i were you i would degrease it with some greased lightning and a pwer washer. the POR 15 sticks rusty metal better than bare metal

there is a guy in middleboro on bedford st that sandblasts for $100 an hr that would take him about 20 minutes to do i can get his number if intrested

I think MPE will blast it, grind off the bullshit, and powder coat it for $200.
