Is the lower a stock 5.0 manifold of a GT/Cobra style? That will make a big difference in what it is worth.

Also yes that intake is killing your performance.

Does the motor have anything else done to it?

If that's a stock motor and cam, then yes it's gonna hurt.

SHort runner intakes kill torque but make up for it in top end HP. However, with a street car, you really need the low end torque.

So ideally you'd want a long runner intake unless you are building a drag strip car that will spend it's life in the upper RPM range all the itme pretty much

Those 24's are a little big for the stock E7's ( polished or not ) WHile yes the car will run ..... It will not have as good a throttle response and will effect drivability and mileage . Save the 24's for when you step up to aftermarket heads that can flow the amount of air to use the bigger injector . Just an FYI ..19's are good for 300 flywheel horse ( Naturaly aspirated ) before they max out the duty cycle .

24# injectors are not too big for stock E7's. Box intakes are made for big cube, high revving engine. That is killing your low end torque. I think you should go with Edelbrock Performer RPM or RPM II
