Just saw this on another forum and wanted to post it up. I know i used to drive by this place heading home from work everyday and wondered what was in there since most of the yards in that area of RI are closed up and gone now.


I am so tempted to go and look around just for shits and giggles

That is Jr Carpenter's junk yard. They are telling you it is the one on Weaver Hill Rd. That is his active junk yard. I know some people who have been there and it is located on Hopkins Hill in West Greenwich.

I think it shut down in the late 80's early 90's. I was some late 80's cars in there.

that is a mile away from my parents house
been going there for years
jr runs the active one now on wearver hill rd
his dad is the one that had the mustang junk yard
still lot of cars but just sitting on the ground


been keeping this place a secret for years

jr is kool guy with 1 eye

has a couple of cars down below then 1/4 mile hike in the woods to the cars
