trying to see the best way to store a short block ...the 89gt im parting out has a nice short block and if no 1 buys it in next couple of days i want to keep it till spring ....its sitting in the car still with no heads on it under a car cover but i want to see what the best way of keeping it fresh would be ...

Take it out, spray it down with rest preventative and bag it up.

hes saying spray it with something like wd-40

fill it with oil.. a good 9+ quarts and then bag it
