introducing myself to the mustang community


whatsup every1 i just figured how to do this intro thing so names sean just bought a 1990 lx with 5.0 conversion and i am pulling the motor out right know to clean engine bay of rust and make it look good (atleast thats the plan) im no machanic and iv never done it befor but i have a very good general knowlage of things and i loooove cars so.... but i also went to the jently used parts yard....(junkyard) and pulled out some gt40p heads and gt40 upper and lower intake manifold and plan on putting it on my motor while its out.. after i get em cleaned up and hopfully ported... i cant wait till summer to get it up and running again and hang out with other stang bangers dont have many friends with cars and my friends dont have much interest in them so looking for ppl with interest...... if u have any advice in removing the motor or anything about the heads and intake please let me know...thnx

welcome to the site, enjoy your winter project. Pulling the motor isnt that bad at all in a Stang. Make sure to pull the tranny out also, makes the reinstall 10x easier.

Welcome to Bostonstangs bro.. Looks like you got yourself a nice project to work on... These cars are fairly easy to work on, and simple bolt on's can get you better HP and Torq..
