This car was built during a four year period beginning in January 2001 and ending in April 2004. It was built entirely by my twin brother Paul Slaney and myself, with the exception of the Paint and Bodywork, which was done by Scott Lockhart of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Without their help, I wouldn't have this car.
Engine:1988 5.0 block bored .030 over, decked and all internals balanced. Keith Black Hyperutectic Domed Pistons, Comp Cams' solid lifter flat tappet cam (238 & 248/.536 & .548), AFR 185's (58 cc's), Edelbrock F-28 Dual Quad Intake Manifold with two Edelbrock 500 cfm carbs. MAC 1-3/4" Longtubes, Off Road H-Pipe and 2.5" Catback exhaust. MSD Distributor, Blaster II Coil, and 6AL Ignition Box. It has 10:8:1 compression and made 307 rwhp @ 6,400 rpms and 278 rwt @ 4,400 rpms.
Transmission:Tremec 3550, Pro 5.0 Shifter, Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch, Ford Motorsport Aluminum Driveshaft, Lakewood Driveshaft safety loop.
Rearend: 8.8 with Ford Motorsport 4.30 gears, Detroit Locker Unit, and Superior 31 splined axles.
Suspension: Ford Motorsport "B" springs, Competition Engineering 90/10's (Front) and 3-way adjustable shocks (Rear), Southside Machine Lower Control Arms, Steeda Adjustable Upper Control Arms, Air Lift rear airbag system, Energy Suspension Polyurethane Engine and Transmission Mounts, PST Polyurethane suspension bushings, and Kenny Brown subframe connectors.
Interior: Stock Black with Autometer 5" Tachometer, Autogauge's 2" triple gauge pack (Volt, Water Temp, Oil Pressure), Grant Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel and Sony X-Plod AM/FM/CD player and Pioneer Speakers.
