Are you suprised by any of this? That pic sums up Obama pretty well. He will not do any good for this country thats a guarantee. He will not live up to any of his campaign promises. He also won't follow thru with his ways of reforming health care and making college affordable, oh wait he never said how he was gonna do that. Universal health care will not work in America but he will do it anyway. If you guys thought things were bad with Bush hold on. Its only gonna get worse.

#1 Not to be an asshole but this is one thing you'd be better off keeping to yourself rather than posting it up on a Mustang forum website, especially when it gets everyone up in arms.

#2 I haven't followed up much on either candidate but from the things I do know and what I've seen/heard Obama is an intelligent man who just might do us good, so give him a chance. If its about him being HALF black, get over it and stop being rediculous. As far as what Stangman NB and 93 LX FiveO have said, good job guys I couldn't agree more.

How is obama going to put us in less debt? Look at all his plans, how do you think we can pay for them? It was McCain who was for cutting spending and smaller government.

Clarification that picture IS propaganda, the photograph was taken during the star spangled banner NOT the pledge of allegiance. Obama's quote when the picture was all over the press was something along the lines of 'Growing up I was taught to hold my hand over my heart during the pledge of allegiance , but during the national anthem we sing'

Can anyone here tell me why they voted for Obama? And I'm not looking for the standard "change" or "anti-Bush" statement.

For Instance:

I voted for McCain for

(A) He was for Reducing the Corporate Tax & making bush's tax cut plan permanent. Thus Retaining Current U.S. Jobs and making the U.S. an enticing place for new businesses.

(B) John McCain's approach to the current economic crisis seems to be more logical than president elect Barrack O'bama's. this is again mostly because of his stances on corporate taxes.

(C) I appreciate my 2nd amendment, and like the fact that John McCain doesn't want to impede on it.

This isn't a rhetorical question... I just want to see if I can finally get a straight answer from an Obama supporter.
