So due to everyone saying that cutouts would be a bad Idea, I was wondering if magnaflow mad a catback systems with the magnapack mufflers? I want loud and raspy and I feel that these would work, but every catback I can find isnt the magnapacks?
Does anyone know how they sound on a 5.0? Ive listened to clips online, but I want to see if anyone has there or has heard these in person? Also I want to know if they will pop and crackle when they scavenge when im off the gas....
I have them ,I think that they sound good with turn downs.I have x pipe ,no converters .I did have side pipes on at one time,but the turn downs sound much better ,imho.George

Well I would be running them out the rear through tail pipes with either 3" or 3.5" tips... I think I will sound killer! Are they loud in person? They seem raspy and pop and crackle in the videos I hear online, but I just want to make sure before I buy them.
Who sells the catback? I cant seem to find a Magnapack catback online anywhere for a fox...
Mine came with a setup for side pipes .They did sound good,but one night I was running around 140 and hit a racoon ,it broke the driverside sidepipe almost completely off .I later noticed how much better it sounded (to me ) without the curved pipe so I put turn downs on it . I am happy with the sound.Yes it is loud.It should sound good with large dia. tail pipes that are fairly straight and unrestricted.I don't know where you could get a catback system,mine was a custom setup ,all stainless steel.I couldn't use reg. built tail pipes because of my rear tire and suspension setup.You might get in touch with Magnaflow and ask them about a catback system.But if you get the mufflers the tail pipes should be straight foward for any muffler shop,if you have a fairly stock rear tire and axle setup.O yes this for me is without cad.converters,that could be a problem if you need them .
O yes again, you will need to get the front muffler bolt flanges off of some old mufflers to bolt to your x or h pipe if you decide to use the Mag.mufflers, plus have a set of cone connectors made( no biggie) in your build your own setup.After rereading your questions i see that you say magnapacks ,mine are manaflows ,if that makes any difference to you .

George - Yea bro I feel like I am going to have to do a custom setup. I really want the Magnapacks not just the chambered magnaflows or whatevert they are. I was hoping to find a catback that I could just bolt on, but no such luck... Magnaflow is hatin' on the 5.0's! But Im sure if I got the magnapacks and then just a tailpipe kit, I could find someone who could make it work for me...
