hey i got an 87 gt i got mac shorty headers 2.5 x pipe no cats and mac 3 in cat bak was thinking of switching ova 2 flowmaster 1 chambers think i should keep 3 in pipin or down size to 2.5
1st things first man,spellcheck is your friend.As far as exhaust, 1 chamber Flowmasters are just plain obnoxious if thats what your going for.As far as pipe size,3" is overkill for a mild 302,along with squeaks and rattles associated with it.

i have 1 chamber flowmasters on my car now, they are WAY TOO LOUD! im lookin to go to spintech. i had them on my car when it was stock and it was loud when you get on it but had a bad drone, so it depend on what you have done to your car and if you can deal with drone. btw i have 2 1/2 exaust
