Yet another noob...

Hey what's up everyone, LX546 sent me over here to check things out. So dont mind my dumb questions LOL. Right now I own a VW and I am hoping to ditch it before winter for a clean fox notch roller. So don't make fun of my slow ass car LOL.

The screen name came from a license plate on a mustang I got demolished by at NED about 8 years ago and the name has just stuck because my buddies thought that is was funny.

Anyway just saying hello and hanging out.

Thanks for letting me join up and I am looking forward to meeting some people at the track next year if i can get the car done in time. We just bought a new house here in CT and the deal with the wife was we could get it as long as it has a 2 car garage and i could get my mustang. So we are almost unpacked and now it is about time to fill one bay up with a toy finally.

97 golf 4 door 5 speed. I would like to jsut trade for a roller if i could find one, the car has issues though, CEL was on, bulb burned out, it is missing the evap parts.

Long story shot, when my wife bought it, she wanted it to go faster, went with a custom T3 turbo, SDS standalone management and some other things, couldnt pass emissions, they wanted to pull the reg on the car, but they let her slide by. Then went to go back for emissions 2 years later, wtill wont pass which i know, pulled the turbo parts and installed a stock motor and trans, re wired the entire car because the shop that did all of the work hacked up not only the engine harness, but the entire interior wiring harness. she had about 16k into the car between that and custom paint and body work (mind you this was all my wife not me LOL)

We went to do some exhaust work on it the other day in my buddies shop and the floors are all ruined because the same shop used the floor pans as lift points and i have never been under the car to even notice it so i am pretty much stuck.

Car runs great though now that it is all fixed and driven daily, i was doing about 110 miles per day with no issues, now i am only 10 minutes form home

Sorry for the rant

I just actually picked one up a few months back i was going to build and put it into this car and go eat up some honduhs. but i want to focus on building a toy and handing it down to my 8 month old when he is old enough to learn about it and respect the car and can handle it
