It depends on what T-bird turbos you got cause they changed through the years from Garretts to IHI(Mistu).

The IHI's are way too small even with 2 on a 5.0.

The Garret .48A/R are still on thr small with two on a 5.0 but it's a better match than the IHI's. Lot of effort and time though to used improperly sized turbos.

The Garrett .60A/R turbos that came off of T-birds are the only ones that are truly correctly sized junkyard twin set-up for 5.0.

Doing a cheap turbo set-up can be done succesfully but it takes knowledge, planning, and patience. If you aren't willingly to have all 3 your gonna be a miserable fuck.

Do it. And I have a green stock hood here if you want it come take it... it'll look better than that flat black one you have now.

Do it up Josh, best way of doing and learning new things is on your own, a little help is ok, but either way good luck on the turbo project, can't wait to see the end result.

Hope you know how to weld so you can make your pipes. Stay away from that ebay junk. Only things worth anything are the intercooler kits. Easiest way to do it is to find someone's TT setup you like and copy it. You could also check out some of the companies that offer a TT setup and see if you could get just the pipes.

Patience is necessary with a homemade TT kit. There is a lot more that goes with it and if you cut corners you will end up with a weak setup.

You could copy the HP TT kit and actually make one that fits right the first time and doesn't take 6 months to a year to get all the correct parts.
