Need A Helmet

Hey guys I need a helmet to go racing with, just wondering if anyone has an suggestions as to where to get one? I was looking on the NED website and they said it needs to meet SNELL 95 or newer regulations. I would prefer to go to a store to try it on, but I could order one online too if I have to.

Yes, they can be, and yes, it does matter. The helmet MUST conform to snell95 or better. These are available at many motorcycle shops. A Snell rating exceeds a DOT rating.

Either way most of the ones I am seeing online are SNELL-M2000 or newer. I just wanted to make sure that a motorcycle helmet would be ok, and that I wouldn't get there and have them turn me down. Thanks guys.
