Man, I don't want to be a dick here but you have to pick what you want to do. A million tech questions and you still don't know what to do. Get a plan and stick with it. Big blocks, strokers, cam selections, etc. all have there place. Pick what you want to do, set your goals and work just to achieve those goals. Don't change mid way through and do something else or it will never be finished. It seems like you keep changing your mind by all of these tech questions. If you have your heart set out for a big block fox look into some F-150 springs to hold up the front of it.

460 is so not worth the effort unless you want to do endos in your car instead of on a motorcycle. You don't need a 460 for high rpm power or low end torque anymore. Pick a combo and stick with it. Use a 302/351 based motor or a mod motor swap.
Nothing wrong with a 460 IMO if you wanna go straight line. Guy down in Austin bought the 514 crate motor from FRPP using a glide and was shooting a little spray and going 9.20's.
LOL !! ... I don't think anyone wants you to " fuck off" Just that you need to have a plan and stick with it ! When you figure it out ... we will be all to happy to help you with anyhting you want to know ! As to the block splitting thing .... if your going for that much power ... use a Boss block . 1500. will get you the block and it's good for 358 c.i. Slap an F1-A on it or a 76mm turbo and you will make in the neighborhood of 800 rwhp !! Easily !!
want somthing diffrent but was told stock 5.0s around 450 rwhp get weak but hey its more stressful with deciding on engine combo than it is me racing my shifter kart and traveling and getting that prepared also and i didnt think it was gonna be that hard but i want torque not a quick rev and no power but im also been 130-140 in my kart down the straight at loudon so maybe just fuckin sell it and focus on racing just dont even care anymore

It 'll be O.K. buddy !! I feel like I need to hand ya a life saver candy !! If it's just low rpm torque you want ... thats easy ! Just slap a Cummins turbo deisel out of dodge pick up in your stang !! It may sound stupid ! .. But I saw one on the show " Pass Time" . It was a full weight 2 wheel drive pick up with a cummins turbo deisel and a Bully Dog programmer that went 11:70 @ 126 mph . !! It was stock otherwise !! Can you imagine what it would do in a light weight fox !! .... and talk about different !!

IF you make good money and have no bills .... then go buy a an 03 -04 terminator !! They hold there value and those engines are good for 1200 horse before they start chucking parts .. After you buy the car ... slap a kenebell blower on it and upgrade the fuel pumps and BLAM !! 650 rwhp .. Good enough to smoke your Bro all day long !! LOL
Sorry guy if I was a little harsh! I didn't want to be the dick. But someone has to calm you down. Lead you in the right direction. There are alot of combo's out there that will get you in the 10's pretty easy. Weather it be N/A, Blown, Turboed, or Juiced. Start researching what you want to do. If you stay N/A and build a pump gas high compression motor don't think you will put a turbo or blower with 10 psi of boost on it down the road. Build a motor that will suit your needs. If you build a motor for forced induction. Pick all the CORRECT parts for forced induction the first time around. The whole total package must co-inside with each other from the front of the engine all the way to the rear tires. You need 300 hp to run mid to low 12's, 400 h.p to run mid to low 11's. 500 h.p. to run mid to low 10's these figures are at the rear wheels. Figure out what you want to do and aim for that goal.

You can go 10's with the 302 and you can keep your T-5. I mean that's where the Outlaw guys got there start, then Renegade etc. I'd strongly recomend getting a suspension setup for it. Full length subframes, etc. Try to get the weight down in the car to 2700-2800 or so. Don't tell me it can't be done because if you look at 5.0 history this was done 10 plus years ago.......
460 i can get for dirt like 200$ complete 16,ooo miles and cam, intake, headers and spray it or keep my 5.0 and do what ever but would put auto in if went with big block but seen a lot of foxes on youtube rip with 460s

stock 302 heads/cam/intake 150 shot 4.10 gears 3000 stall built c4 tranny 4 cylinder front springs weight reduction
might not get 10's but u will be damn close
idk about 4.10s and nitrous...or 150shot on a h/c/i motor...most likely gonna brake something...i still say 460! if u dont like it, then just put the 302 back in it!! ha

I think your making a big mistake with the 460 swap . Your gonna run into so many fitment issues it's not going to be funny ! Ya it's been done and can be done ... but , not as easily as you think ... Nor as cheap ! If you want 10's on the cheap ... Keep your stock short block ... Find a good quality set of aluminum heads , a cam desighned for nitrous use , a good carbed intake like a victor junior , with a 750 or 800 cfm demon carb or BG . An MSD ignition set up from distributor to ignition box . A worked c-4 auto and a nitrous converter , A spool with 31 spline axles , and drag springs and shocks ... With a 200 hit of the juice !! Multi stage of course . Like 75 for the first stage and 125 for the second . Then lighten that bitch as much as possible . No bumper supports ... no back seats ... no heater box assembley and so on .. Just two light weight seats and a carpet and dash .... Alot of this stuff you can find used so as to keep the cost down and you can beat your bro with a 5.0 !! LOL
srry scott i already got the 460 so call me an idiot but i got it and gonna do the unthinkable but .... hey no replacement for dicplacement! lol jk idk
