Does the shaft on the blower still spin ? and does it spin with no excessive resistance ? Might want to make sure the blow off valve is still working correctly . The thing here is as you know a keyway is a fail safe . It is not comon for this to happen unless there is a problem . Like a seized blower or bad bearings or a bad blow off valve that didn't release the boost on the pressure side when you backed off the throttle suddenly and caused a back up on the impeller . Might want to pull the blower apart for inspection for peace of mind .
