have you guys ever heard a borla exhaust on a 5.0? ive never heard one in person, but the few clips ive heard online and stuff sounded pretty good. i was thinking about getting a new catback because the flowmasters just arent doing it for me but figured id ask you guys' opinion first.
I've heard one and it sounded really good... at least to my ears. IMO mac and flowmasters... I stay away from, why have your car soun like every other mustang out there.
Amanda how can you not like the sound of Flowmaster!? lol you need to hear my car, I just put a new system on it with BBK headers, offroad x pipe and Flow 40 series...Borla is good shit but they are EXPENSIVE. Last time I checked they only offer like 1 catback and it uses real small pipes...Unless you just wanna buy their mufflers and do your own thing. If not Borla I would try those Dynomax Ultraflow SS mufflers, I know they perform fuckin awesome and supposed to sound good too.

I almost got Ultra flows.. They are sorta quiet. I wanted growl, so I went with Magna flows.
Are they really quiet?? I had the Super Turbos on my old notch and they were on the quiet side but you could still hear them pretty damn good...And I heard the Ultraflow SS's are supposed to be louder than the Super Turbos...But who knows, I never heard them.
MAC or Magnaflow FTW....flowmasters are the worst flowing mufflers on the market they just make shit sound good, if thats all ur lookin for then there ya go, ive had mac on all my cars and wuldnt ever use anyting other than mac
