mines gone too. in fact when i did my 4 cyl to 5.0 conversion on my 88, i never put the AC in. i dont even mind it. i just roll down the windows all the way, catch as much breeze as possible & listen to a sweet Flowmaster exhaust smile.gif

The a/c in my 04 explorer blows nice and cold .... and so does the central air in my house ! I love A/C !! nana.gif

only you can answer that question. If I had to guess I'd say some idiot told you it will make your car faster to not run an a/c pulley.

the ride from the campground home about 70 miles today in 100 degrees was nice and kool with my a/c on the whole ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you can, but why> siting in the staging lanes i guess yoiu could but not when you pull up to the lights, tech might say something because the AC codensor dispenses water to the ground and they might think something is leaking from your vehicle

I just reinstalled mine. I just have to wire it up and charge it. I can't wait until I can cruise in a cold cabin. It was a pain to install mine though, as I had to remove the dash and the whole heater box assembly. I then switched everything over to 1990 specs and got rid of the '79 specs. Now I know I'll have no problems in the future when it comes to getting parts.
