i have to agree with novak on this. our cobras dont respond to a kb the way 03 cobras do.your better off going with a procharger or a vortech y trim

the aluminator motor is rated for flywheel hp not rear wheel. Its the same as an 03/04 shortblock which different pistons and that heavy iron block is gone. You are better off taking your motor out and having it built by a good shop. Switching to the 99+ intake/heads for better yet 03/04 heads would be worth doing. Best thing to do is built motor w/ D1 procharger, at mid teens for boost you should be in the mid 500's to the tire minium.

Well they use the alluminator in thier drift 05 gt it's a 4v but i figured since you get a built long block 4 $6500 then the kenne bell 4 $3400 . along with the tax delivery i figured it to be around $10500 . then ill have an eng that redlines around 7000 rpm

Its a built longblock, but for that money you could pay about $1000 more tops and have a far superior motor done that will take 1000hp. The only benefit on that longblock is the heads, they are much better than the 96-98 B heads. There is a set of Mach 1 heads on corral.net in the classifieds for $450, same heads on the aluminator. You should be all over that deal, an intake is another $200-$300 unless its been ported. There you go, better heads and intake for under $1000 then just get your motor done. To run that motor you need the new intake I think, so that money has to be spend regardless.
