I thought this year pre 96 cars did not need emissions? When is that starting? No way my car will pass. It almost failed for being too loud last year and it was only a safety test! I had to charm my way out of it.
I'm pretty much screwed lol, I have full exhaust no cats and the thing screams... no way will i pass emissions... but then again the car won't be done anytime soon for the road anyway.

still going to be a visual inspection for cats still going to have to pass for noise if it actually goes into effect other roomers are that you will still have to pass tail pipe test insted of the dyno
Well there is always ways around this... either people know someone that will overlook it and pass them, that or they might just charge you more to pass you. There's always someone that will do it lol if not then were all fucked.
Or then again you could always spend some money on a catted mid pipe and just switch the o/r pipe out just for emissions purposes... thats another alternative...
Damn I have to go for emissions come July why couldn't that stupid thing come into affect already.. LOL Then again I'm sure I wont have a problem passing. Hint Hint Hint.. LOL
All OBD II Cars ( 96 & up ) will still have to pass emissions and all OBD I ( 95 & down ) will not .... The reason for this is that we ( 95 & down cars ) are no longer the majority on the road anymore . So there for it is no longer cost effective for the State to have emissions testing equipment for these vehicles . But I fear that some kind of tax will be imposed on us for having non-emission compliant vehicles ....
