Jaguar is total shit!! I had a friend that worked at a Jag dealer in NH, he showed pictures of new cars still on the truck with the bottom the the engines soaked with oil!! . And it wasn't a one time occurence. I worked on a few early models that came in trade at the dealer also. Piss poor engineering in my book . GOOD BYE JAGUAR!!
They're not that much really. I almost got a type X until I found out it was a contour chassis and was a POS lol. The old rovers are real off road but I didn't like the new ones.
not really...ford sold off most of its aston martin ownership last year...it only owns a small portion of aston martin now

Good , let Jaguar and Land Rover be someone else's problem. They are both toilets in terms of quality. Not sure whats worse out of the 2. Maybe this will free up some money for Ford to do R&D on some good cars.
Back in the old days the U.S. Automakers had there hand in alot of different things. Ford owned Philco. They used to make T.V's ( My parents had one). I owned an old refrigerator made by American motors when I had my bachlor pad back in the early 90's. They owned quite a few large companies. When they bought Jaguar and Land Rover It was a piss poor decision. Those companies were on a financial downward spiral when they bought them. Now that Ford is Floundering they have to get rid of These money sucking leeches. Good Riddance! They will get rid of the unions next. Just like the airlines.
