So after my car was totalled the insurance company slapped me in the face with a $700 check. I was totally bummed out because there was no chance of me getting ahead enough to save for a new car, but Rick told me not to worry about it and that he'd make a few phone calls. Now a week later i just got a call from the insurance company, a $4,750 check will be in the mail tomorrow. Thank god for Rick, what a huge help he was!! Now im ready to get going again, with some serious cash to play with im ready for a good year with you guys Thanks for all the help guys!
Glad everything turned out great... see I told ya good things will come your way soon, and look here now, here is the proof.. I rest my case Amanda... Congrats!
I would love to hear how this one came about. I think you were lowballed on the first check, but your car was no where near worth $5950. I got that figure by taking $700 you first got, adding $500 for you deductible assuming thats what you have for one. Gives me $1200 for what the car as considered worth. Sales tax figures in there to before the deductible is taken too. So now you are gonna tell me you got another $4750 for a stock fox body w/ recent paint? Like I said I'd love to hear how this one was pulled off. I don't know any total loss rep that allow for that after the fact. Those are the claims that end up in SIU for quite a while.

Wow well this should be remembered for all those who say insurance companies always screw you over, you did it to them this time. I have never heard of a company that pays KBB retail for a car, usually NADA ave retail is the industry norm. I need to know your insurance company so I can switch!!!!
