When I replaced the fuel pump on that car the fuel tank was fine. No rust or rot anywhere on it. Only thing that I have had issues in the past with on some cars is the rubber "boot" where the fuel filler neck attaches gets a tear and may leak from there.

The TPS on that car was replaced recently, as was the IAC sensor. Car was fully tuned up recently too.

What do you mean by it having starting problems though? Is it cranking over but not starting at all? Is it starting but then not idling?

hey there, john here from j&l auto, when you have this problem do you have spark and injector pulse. and i have seen the coolant temp sensor go bad on the fox body 5.0..... if it has only a cold start problem i would lean on the coolant temp sensor being bad... when it is cold the sensor will tell the computer to give more fuel, when it is hot , you need less fuel too start the car.. let me know if this helps you, you can also can the shop anytime, i don't go on the site as much as i should but i will be checking to se if you got this messege... good luckblob8
