What's up everyone, my name is Brian and I was required to make this post.....
I'm from Jupiter, FL, and since my roots come from Mass, I figured I'd get acquainted with some folks up that way. I am constant visitor to www.southfloridastangs.net, which is quite possibly one of the most addicting forums out there. I'm the resident Masshole there.
I currently drive a 1994 GT with a few bolt-ons. I also have a 1995 Stang that was originally a V6 auto, but a carb-5.0L/5-speed was swapped in. I've been a Stang freak since I was old enough to realize that Ferrari's & Corvettes cost too much.
Not only do I love Stangs, but I'm also a maniac about the Sox/Pats/Celts/Bruins. Since I was old enough to watch TV, my father had me sitting next to him watching Bird and McHale tear apart the NBA; but I was 4 years old. Yea, up until the first Pats Super Bowl win, I hadn't witnessed a Boston championship that I could remember....that has certainly changed lately.
welcome to the site!!! yea it does count as an introduction nice lookin rides u got
The red one is only mildly modified, I bought it just over a year ago with 136,480 miles for $3,500. The car came with 3.73's, full-exhaust, BBK CAI. The only things I've done to it are a Steeda bumpsteer kit w/ X2 balljoints, tires, a king-cobra clutch, water pump, and oil changes. It's been a good daily driver so far. The only problem is that my 2nd gear synchro is shot, so I've never been able to run the car from a dig.
The white one is more of a track-only beast. No A/C(which you NEED down here in FL on a DD), no power-steering, stripped interior etc. So it doesn't see much time. I actually am preparing to completely strip the white one back down to nothing and redo the whole thing.....again.
Thankfully I have friends that work at Steeda, UPR, DiabloSport, and a good friend of mine owns TMS(Total Mustang Supply) which really helps on the money end of things.
