how do you know is a pair of heads are 351's? on cl they have 351 fordmotorsport heads for 300. but i dont know how to tell. are 351 heads worthy of being on my 306? or should i look elsewhere.
There should be a part # on the heads. The only good factory heads were the 69-70 351-w heads they had the DOOE and C90E Casting #'s. Any other factory 351-W head is the same as the 302's. If you can find the early ones they are equivalent to the GT40 Heads.

x2....make shure they have one of those casting numbers on then otherwise theyre not worth it....alot of 351w came with e7te heads in the 70s and 80s....i like actuly like 69-72* might be the good ones, plus if u could get those u dont have to deal with header issues

They are real 351 heads. if your interested come on down and see. I haven't f*cked anyone over from this site. Ive sold to bonez and dave and a few other people. They are the same if not better than the real gt40 cast heads on the 93 cobras. not the same as pheads
