sorry to bring back an old thread, but you know who you bought that from, right? keep your eyes open and make sure everything's legit with that car.

well, it was his personal car, so i bet he did do it all right. i was only saying to look out for thing he may have told you he did, but didn't. he stole a shitload of money from my father and did the same to a bunch of other guys. his work has always been very good, but he's just a crook. he's actually very local to me, being only 10 minutes and one town over.

Some guys already beat me to it. Chris @ CD Performance is one of the first real big mustang shop scumbag. The others are already out of business. I'd make sure the car is legit. Chris probably bought the stuff legit, but I'm sure he ripped off someone to pay for it. Chris is well known to be a hack too so watch the work he did and make sure its done properly. One thing about Chris is when its his own cars he does make a killer car.

If you start having it vandalized though make sure you let people know Chris doesn't own it anymore.

man I can't believe I would see this car again... I live in fall river and I herd allot of stories about that car when it was sold. Chris is good with his shit when it's on his own car but make sure you go through that whole car bro. I have known Chris for years and I was a very good friend of his and he screwed 3 of my own friends over 10K they got some of the money back but still lost out. Just make sure you never go there again for parts or work done cuz it will never be done or you will never see your parts. well I hope you have good luck with the car bro

Some of my friends have had the exact same experiences. Chris is only worth going to if you are paying cash in full and he has the part in stock. You might get the work done if you wait for it, but make sure you watch him. There are better mustang shops around if you needed something done.

Best way to go there is strapped. I wouldn't go there again any other way. I bet Chris is always armed in there too.

Nice ride! I LOVE that color!!! CHROME 18" saleens would look killer on that thing! 245s front and 275s rear will fit perfect! A buddy of mine has a saleen (99-04) with 265 front and 285 rear with no problems.

both of those trannys are nasty but more for drag racing like the c4 u can go around but u cant really cruz around ya know....and powerglide there too much drag for the street both are good deals

If all you are doing is a 347 n/a motor then an AOD is fine for that setup. Even with an S or a T trim you will be ok with a properly built AOD. Just keep it out of o/d when you don't need it. The older Ford autos don't like shifting in and out of o/d. A 347 will work fine with a tremec too.

At least you are almost ready to go with it. It will be a sharp looking car when you are done with it. I'm glad Chris had to sell it because he is a thief and a scammer. Hopefully you can do something good with it. The 94+ cars are so much nicer than fox bodies in terms of chassis, interior, steering, etc.
